I’m not talking about pie-in-the-sky-by-and-by promises. I mean those intensely personal words that the Holy Spirit has whispered to you in your private time with Him, that white stone with the name written on it that only you and God can read, those scriptures that suddenly burned like fire in your soul when you walked with him in the cool of your Garden Enclosed.
And the years went by.
And some more years went by.
And the enemy slithered up, Has God said?
Do not believe Sulfur Breath! He is a liar! And you can call him that to his deceitful face! Cherish what God has given you and press on! Take to heart the word that says, God is not slack concerning his promises.
We have this word in Psalms 31:19 (Amplified): Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear, revere, and worship You, goodness which You have wrought for those who trust and take refuge in You before the sons of men!
God has laid up, he has stored up goodness for you if you fear him, worship him, walk with him!
Take me, for example!
I trust God,
Come one! You can do it!
